Argentina

The perks of working very very hard? A business incentive to the other side of the world ! Last month, I went to Argentina. It was my first time in South-America, and I must say : I absolutely loved it!

We spent most of our time in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, near the Rio De La Plata. I won’t bother you with the ‘business’ part of the trip, but I would like to share some pictures with you!

Our hotel was located in the Recoleta neighborhood, known for its expensive shops, and its famous graveyard. It’s really nothing like the graveyards we see here in Belgium. This one is located in the middle of the neighborhood, and is like a city in itself. very narrow roads, with small houses built one next to the other. Some tombs are real pieces of art, others are very modern. The more fortunate people from the city are buried here, and the tomb that is by far the most visited, is the one where Evita Perron is buried.

One of the statues that striked me the most, was the one below. A little mourning angle sitting at the corner of a tomb..
